| 5th May | May Medal (and A Section) went to last years Championship runner-up Alan Thompson on the better-inward-half from Duncan Ireland who also scored 62 with Kevin Mackie also scoring 62 to take 3rd spot (and the B Section). A Burns won the C section with 87

| 29th April | Joan Gray, Rab Kay, Graham Hill and Tam Galloway took the Rab Binnie Trophy today with a Texas Scramble score of 54.4.

Rab Low, Mike Devine, Phil Demarco Snr and Phil Demarco Jnr took the top spot at the recent Lochend Texas Scramble with a fine 54.3 which included a 2 at the 6th from captian Rab Low.

| 14th April | Home advantage was definitely in play at Lochend's first Open of the year, The Mackie Cup. Home players took the 1,2,3, in the Handicap Competition as David Bennet, Paul Mackay and John Williamson II all scored 64 with David taking the top spot and Paul Mackay runner-up on the better-inward half. Duddingston's Ray Ramsay was 4th on b.i.h. from Lochend's Colin Farwell. Entry Forms are now available for the next Open the Lochend Quaich on Saturday 9th June |
| 7th April | New member Mark Dalrymple got off to a winning start at Lochend by winning the April medal. His winning score was one of three 60's but his inward 9 was enough to take the medal from Robert Binnie, who won the A Section and Alex MacIntyre. Martin kyles Junior won the C Section with 65. CSS for today was 66 |
Well done to Andrew Hutchinson who won the special Cheltenham day "Gold Cup" competition.

| 4th March | Congratulation to the Hackenbushes who retained the Winter League trophy today. Robert Binnie,
Duncan Ireland, David Graham and Chris Reid were made to work hard in the final against the Latecomers, who also went through the competition unbeaten.

| 3rd March | Ricky Richardson won the March Medal today by a single stroke. A 62 was enough to give Ricky the win from David Haining who took the runner-up spot from Tommy Sutherland on the better-inward-half.

| 4th Feb | Gary Breheny won the first gent's medal of 2012 today. His 62. in absolutely freezing conditions. was good enough to win from Terry Paul one shot back with 63. Philip Beveridge was 3rd with 65.
